Years ago, my parents went scuba diving in Bonaire.  My dad took a picture of this turtle underwater.  I researched coral and tropical fish that live in the Bonaire area, and added them to my piece.  This work took about 3 months to complete due to the intricate detail found in each piece of coral, as well as the color combinations in the turtle’s shell.  I told my wife I didn’t want to sell the original, so she bought me a baby turtle instead.
